Fried Chicken Is Good -- And So Is Life: KFC's Fashion Collection

KFC is embracing positive vibes and iconic imagery in its latest limited-edition capsule collection collab with Life Is Good, which launched this week.

The “positive lifestyle brand” known for its stick figure graphics on apparel and housewares teamed up with the chicken chain on a series of premium hats and T-shirts. The wearables feature Jake, Life is Good’s mascot, as well as the iconic KFC red-and-white-striped bucket, with slogans like ‘Life is Finger Lickin’ Good’ and "Bucket List."

The Life is Good x KFC apparel collection is only available on KFCShop.com and lifeisgood.com.

 “Food is such an integral part of connecting with others and making memories, which is why we teamed up with Life is Good, a brand that’s all about enjoying life, for an exclusive ‘Life is Finger Lickin’ Good’ line,” said Anna Faktorovich, vice president of brand management for KFC U.S.



Each item in the collection will “showcase five unique art styles on a range of colorways that capture the brands’ shared mission to celebrate the good,” per the release.

Life is Good said KFC “effortlessly aligns with [our[ brand ethos to spark connections through life’s simple pleasures—like bonding over shared interests, spending time in nature, or savoring a delicious meal with loved ones,” per the release.

The new Life is Good collection is just the latest collaboration for KFC. The chain released a streetwear collection with fashion designer NIGO in 2018 and later KFC China celebrated its 80thanniversary with a collaboration with Karl Lagerfeld. KFC Indonesia also engaged with SANDALBOYZ on a sandal and beachwear collection, and KFC USA has its own branded line of Croc shoes.
