Baileys ads will run in the December issue of Gourmet, followed by an advertorial featuring winners and their recipes in the April issue. Online advertising is slated for Epicurious, DailyCandy, CondéNet, Glamour and Evite.
Amateur and professional mixologists are invited to www.drinkabledesserts.com through Dec. 15, where they can mix the original Baileys or two new flavors with a list of suggested ingredients. On Dec. 18, the Web site will begin featuring recipe submissions, and consumers will vote for their favorites through Jan. 21.
Two winners will have their recipes and images featured in the advertorial, while the top amateur gets a private cooking class at the Gourmet Cooking Arts Center in New York.
