An article that ran in the January 12th edition of
MediaDailyNews titled "Silver Screen Floats Red Herring, CineMedia Sets IPO, Will Pay Off Theaters" included two quotes from previous
interviews with Cliff Marks, the president of National CineMedia. The quotes did not include the dates of the original interviews--June and September, 2006--making them appear current. However,
National CineMedia is in a "quiet period" leading up to its IPO, and Marks is prohibited from making any statements regarding the performance or prospects of the company.
