AOL Latino Builds Social Networking Service On AIM

  • June 4, 2007
AOL Latino on Friday launched Latino AIM Pages, a social networking service built on the AIM platform, which lets Hispanics connect with friends and family.

As part of the launch, AOL Latino worked with Roselyn Sanchez to create a bilingual site featuring trailers, behind the scenes footage, photo galleries and a blog for her new movie, "Yellow." The film is scheduled for theatrical release on June 22.

Latino AIM Pages builds on AOL's popular AIM service and Buddy List feature, letting users build personalized Web profiles to communicate and interact with friends in the U.S. and Latin America.
