Big Brit Papers Have More U.S. Than U.K. Readers--Online

The British newspapers have a home in the U.S.--online, that is. Per Nielsen//NetRatings, Guardian Unlimited and TimesOnline, the UK's two largest "quality" newspaper Web sites in terms of users, have more American than British readers. The Independent is nearly twice as popular in the U.S. as in Britain, while Daily Mail has more than three times as many American readers online as British ones.
