Looking for yet another platform to distribute its content, the Weather Channel will make episodes of two popular TV series available for audio download.

The shows, "Storm Stories" and "It Could Happen Tomorrow," will be available on audible.com.

Ultimately, 101 combined episodes of "Storm Stories," which chronicles real-life natural disasters and their aftermath, and "Tomorrow," which looks at potentially destructive storms, will be online.

Some 25 episodes of the two will be available at first, with additional episodes becoming available each month. Episodes are $1.39 each.

"We are excited about this venture that will allow consumers to have a chance to hear the compelling stories and fascinating scenarios that made these two programs so popular with our TV viewers," said Harold Lewis, vice president of the Weather Channel Radio Network.
