Microsoft's Zune Expands Video Offering

  • May 9, 2008
Microsoft's Zune this week expanded its video offering with TV shows on Zune Marketplace, along with an enhanced online community, Zune Social.

Zune is expanding its video store to include new download-to-own TV shows, including "The Office," "30 Rock," "Heroes," "The Hills," among others, from content partners like NBC, Comedy Central, MTV, VH1, and SciFi.

One enhancement to Zune's online music community is the redesigned Zune Card, which is now more portable. Zune Pass subscribers can now set up real-time feeds of the music their friends are listening to and automatically add those songs to their collection or Zune device.

Zune has also added "power features" like auto-playlists, gapless playback and the ability to sync multiple Zune players to a single PC simultaneously.
