In case you missed it, the four biggest providers of e-mail - America Online, EarthLink, Microsoft, and Yahoo! - this week sued junk e-mail senders via the federal Can-Spam law.

With the presidential election just five days away, voters are gearing up to cast their ballots - some, for the very first time. While there have been more than a few voter registration drives over the past year, there is one that stands out for its extensive use of the Web, as well as tons of offline promotion, including college campus events, to get young people, primarily 18 to 29-year-olds, registered and pumped up to vote.

In yesterday's "Minute," I stated that Google's market cap, for the moment at least, "exceeds that of Yahoo!" and that "shares of Google translate to $51 billion in market value, or about four times more than Yahoo! and, for that matter, Amazon."
