American

American Airlines is joining with NBC Universal on a promotion that includes a sweepstakes with various prizes, including tickets to a "Saturday Night Live" taping.

The airline is jump-starting the All Access sweepstakes, a series of promotions that highlight New York and the NBC shows available on-board. NBC Universal is American's in-flight entertainment provider.

Customers have also been sent links to the AA.com/NBC entertainment page www.aa.com/nbc, which includes detailed information about the promotion.

This is the first phase of the All Access effort; several monthly giveaways from NBC Universal will highlight the company's biggest New York-based shows and events.

The first wave of the promotion will run through Aug. 31, and will include other prizes and experiences. The grand prize will include two tickets to a "Saturday Night Live" show, coach travel to New York from any destination served by American in the 48 contiguous United States, two-night hotel accommodations, a $250 gift card to the NBC Store at 30 Rock, and a $250 cash gift card.
