Mindshare Shuffles Executive Deck, Doyle To Agency President

Lee-Doyle-BWPP’s Mindshare is making several senior-level management moves, including naming former MEC North American CEO Lee Doyle as president, client development, a new position at the agency.

Doyle’s remit is to broaden and deepen senior client relationships and more generally support business development efforts at the agency. He will report directly to North American CEO Antony Young.

Doyle is a longtime GroupM veteran who served as CEO at MEC from 2007 until stepping down in late last year. He was replaced by Marla Kaplowitz.

Mindshare also named a new West Coast head, Alexander Ouvaroff, who is based in Los Angeles. He replaces Sandy Constan, who recently stepped down. Previously, Ouvaroff was executive vice president, Marketing Evolution.



Separately, Mindshare veteran Michael Epstein has been promoted to president, strategic resources and client services. He is responsible for the management of new business, corporate communications, digital, multicultural and promotions. Epstein previously served as the lead on a number of key agency accounts, including Unilever, which is currently in review.

The company created another new post--president and chief strategy officer for its Canadian operation and promoted Jake Norman to fill it. Norman, a five-year Mindshare Canada veteran, will be responsible for the overall strategic product across the agency. In addition, he will oversee a number of key client business teams, including Tim Hortons, Kimberly Clark and American Express.

Jake previously served as managing director, business planning and as client lead for Tim Hortons and J.M. Smucker. Jake started at Mindshare’s Dublin office and then transferred to Mindshare Canada, where he has been for the past five years.

“Central to our success is having the best people in the industry under our roof,” stated Young.
