Red Peak, the brand strategy and design firm, is expanding with the opening of Red Peak Asia in Taipei, Taiwan. Overseeing the new office is Silvia Yu, who joins as CEO. Chris Chung has been appointed creative director.

Yu was most recently senior director of global marketing at computer company Asus. Prior to Asus, Yu held executive positions at international technology companies including Philips and Viewsonic.

Chung also joins Red Peak Asia from Asus, where he worked on the Asus/Intel “In Search of Incredible” campaign.

“Silvia and Chris have a demonstrated ability to transform brands through smart and innovative strategic thinking expressed through fabulous creative,” said Michael Birkin, CEO of kyu, the new strategic operating division of Hakuhodo DY Holdings, which acquired Red Peak in May this year.

In addition to Taipei and its New York City headquarters location, Red Peak has offices in Los Angeles, London and Rio de Janiero.
