Joint Staff's Email System Still Offline After Attack Last Week

The Joint Staff's unclassified email system has been offline for the past week. The system was the victim of "a new sophisticated intrusion" which the government reports was likely mounted by a state actor, though they have not identified which state did the crime. The attack has left about 4,000 military personnel unable to access their email accounts. The system will likely be up and running again later today.
