Could people really be searching more for "Hillary Clinton Indiana" vs. "Hillary Clinton Crimes"? A video seems to suggest no, based on Google Trends results. The search engine's autocomplete
function, which is suppose to show the top searches, suggests yes.
Those who produced the video suggest an alliance between the Clinton campaign and Eric Schmidt, the chair of
Google’s parent company, Alphabet. The same query does not return the same answer on Bing and Yahoo. Vox has a simpler explanation.
