Digilant Launches Platform To Educate Clients On Programmatic Marketing

Digilant, a programmatic media company, announced on Wednesday the launch of Digilant University, an e-learning portal to educate agencies and brands about digital media and programmatic advertising.

The first iteration of Digilant University, developed through a partnership with education and development company CoreAxis, will train PepsiCo staff in Mexico.

The self-guided courses will be released in the U.S. and other regions in the near future.

The PepsiCo-specific curriculum consists of beginner topics like an overview of programmatic players, programmatic KPIs, all about cookies and an introduction to ad servers.

"We are devoting an important part of our advertising budget to programmatic buying, and internally we need a better understanding of all the aspects of how it works, including how to extract more knowledge of our data and optimize each campaign," stated Francisco Cotera, group manager of digital media for PepsiCo in Mexico.

By the end of 2016, programmatic media buying is expected to have grown by 198% in the Latin American region.

Digilant University "enables us to share our knowledge with customers, facilitate their entry into all things programmatic, and deepen their knowledge of digital marketing," stated Alan Osetek, global CEO of Digilant. "And it will keep [customers] current in a very fast-moving field, as the curriculum will continue to evolve and will incorporate new developments as they arise."
