On Sunday (8/27), the day of the Video Music Awards, MTV tracked a 70% increase in digital engagements, supported by a 153% spike in daily post volume. With 44% of the television channel's digital engagements driven by Instagram - a picture& nbsp;of singer Shawn Mendes ranks as the #1 post shared on Sunday - MTV rose from the 4th to 1st spot on the leaderboard.
