CBS Senior Marketing And Communications Executives O'Grady, McClintock To Depart

Two more senior CBS marketing/communications executives are departing -- Anne O’Grady, executive vp of marketing, and Dana McClintock, chief communications officer -- in the wake of the ViacomCBS merger.

McClintock had been with the company for 27 years. O’Grady had been a 30-year CBS veteran.

ViacomCBS laid off around 100 employees last week. As part of these changes, ViacomCBS promoted Justin Dini to the position of executive vice president of communications. Dini had been senior vice president of corporate communications for Viacom.

In September, Mike Benson, former Amazon Studios’ marketing executive, was named president/chief marketing officer of CBS Corp. replacing George Schweitzer, long-time CBS president of marketing.

The move is the latest in a synergistic, cost-saving effort that included a number of senior executive changes in recent months -- including the recent departure of Joe Ianniello, chairman/chief executive officer of CBS and Sean Moran, head of advertising for Viacom, among others.

Recently, former NBC senior executive George Cheeks became president/chief executive officer of CBS Entertainment Group, beginning later this month, replacing Ianniello. Cheeks had been a former Viacom executive.

Recent reports suggest that Ianniello could be heading to a senior executive position at Univision Communications.
