Janet Oak has joined the Colorado-based Vladimir Jones, a 100% women-owned and independent advertising agency, as director of strategy and insights.

Meredith Vaughan, CEO of Vladimir Jones, said Oak's impact on its client work "has been immediate and incredible, driving insights for opportunity areas that have created a palpable point of differentiation for the brands we support."

Most recently, as Chief Brand Officer of Eastside Distilling in Portland, Oregon, Oak was responsible for four spirits brands. Of note, she worked with PepsiCo’s Frito Lay to launch Lay’s Potato Vodka.

She has also partnered with Google, Facebook, Disney and McDonalds as a thought leader in next-generation and multicultural consumer segments.

Vladimir Jones' client work has included Black Hills Energy, BOK Financial and Tourism Santa Fe.
