Fletcher Whitwell Elevated at R&R Partners

The executive who oversaw the media portion of the account well-known for its "Happens in Vegas, Stays in Vegas" tag is moving beyond Sin City. Fletcher Whitwell has been promoted to corporate media director at R&R Partners, which created the campaign, giving him oversight of media operations at the agency's five offices.

He had served as media director in the flagship Las Vegas office; R&R has outposts in Phoenix and Salt Lake City and two other locales.

"Fletcher has been instrumental in building a diversely talented media department, which is an important growth area for us," said Billy Vassiliadis, CEO at R&R. "The integrated partnerships he has spearheaded for the Las Vegas account alone have pumped in millions of dollars in added value to this client and pushed the creative envelope in groundbreaking ways."

Whitwell had served as an associate media director at Starcom prior to R&R, working in local radio and TV for clients such as Miller and Heinz. Prior to that, he was an account manager for radio stations in Chicago and Memphis.

The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority account is $80 million.
