James Edmund Datri, a partner in Washington, DC law firm McDermott Will & Emery, has been named the new president-CEO of the American Advertising Federation. Datri--who has a long track record in
advertising issues as well as government and public policy--succeeds Wally Snyder, who last September announced plans to retire later this year. Datri assumes his new role on Nov. 1. The AAF is the
oldest national advertising trade association, with a membership of 50,000 advertising professionals.
