To encourage patients to sign up for its new Automated Courtesy Refill program, Rite Aid is giving those who enroll a chance to win a 2008 Chevy Malibu Hybrid car and $3,000 in gas gift cards.

The sweepstakes runs through the year.

The free courtesy refill program automatically fills a prescription before it runs out. Rite Aid will call customers when prescriptions are ready for pick-up. The drugstore also will contact a customer's physician for prescription renewals.

Every prescription filled with Rite Aid's Automated Courtesy Refills gives the customer another entry in the sweepstakes drawing. --Nina M. Lentini
