VEVO! VEVO! VEVO! From the moment I left the VEVO party last night and didn't run home to "file a story" as they say in serious journalism land, Twitter was alive with VEVO blather. From musical guests to the tools (human and technological) themselves, everyone wanted a piece. Today is no different with the VEVO storyline weaving into random Tweets and follow up stories covering the infrastructure hiccups the platform seemed to be having. With the "I saw VEVO go down first" competition wrapping up, I give you a look into the past - into last night, the night before …

Many in Utah deem the beer offensive, maybe rightly. Still, it was too bad the bar didn't have Polygamy Porter. The local favorite's label features a nude guy surrounded by six women. And its tagline is hard to top: "Why have just one?" So, it would have been fun to watch people react as a bartender handed over a bottle. And maybe a keg of laughs if a battle of the punch lines broke out.

It's always hard to double down on parties. In my role, that's a lot of talking, running around interrupting people with my camera, and running away from people who want to touch my camera. If you think reducing slides in a Powerpoint deck or cutting words out of your byline is difficult, imagine working with representatives from 192 countries to deforest 176 pages of a draft climate agreement. Kofi Annan will address the conference, supporting his project Tck Tck Tck, a …

I don't care what you do or don't celebrate, I just hope you're happy, healthy, able to pay rent, able to pay your mortgage, unable to resort to violence, devoid of stomach holes and ulcerative colitis, not yelling at strangers in Union Square who stop dead in their tracks for no good reason during the end-of-work pedestrian rush hour... well, you know what I mean. So grab your favorite tacky holiday sweater, whip out your online scheduling tool, and let's see if our holiday party schedules tango...

Last night the company I kept included a magician, a baby-faced DJ, silver-masked spandexed sprites, men in bright pink lipstick, a transsexual New York City icon, the original gangsta (you know, the OG) of celebrity gossip, grass, advertypes, a smoking hot rapper from Chi-town, marketing types, music types, and the most confusing waitress ever. Before I discovered pictures of myself and my +1 wrapped in boas and facially adorned with Dr. Peepers' oversized glasses this morning, I thought maybe it had been a disco fries-induced dream. But it wasn't...

Last night, with my Ohio turkey day festivities sadly quietly behind me, I jumped back into the party swing with the Swiss Picture Bank launch party. This begins what is already shaping up to be a VERY heavy holiday party month.
