Swarovski is upping the ante when it comes to content after appointing Somethin' Else to develop and implement its content and social strategy. The content agency, which was appointed following a competitive pitch, has been tasked with developing an online content approach that will help to build strong and long lasting relationships with Swarovski's current and potential customers.

Despite the weak pound pushing up the cost of holidays, the possibility of a recession, and the uncertainty around the shape of the UK's future relationship with Europe, 94% of Leavers said they had not changed their minds, in an online survey of 500 UK voters conducted by McCann Manchester and VYPR.

John Lewis is creating its own Dragons' Den new business lineup in order to compete with Amazon, ASOS, Aldi and Lidl. The British retailer is partnering with TrueStart, a startup accelerator and investment fund to create 'The Eureka initiative,' which will allow startups within TrueStart's portfolio to partner with John Lewis.

Despite the first Apple TV launching in 2006, it is only now that brands are seeing the opportunity and including the platform in their marketing strategies. Just Eat, the online food order and delivery service, is launching an "industry first" group-ordering experience on Apple TV. It works by syncing its Apple TV app with any mobile phone connected to the same WiFi.

GlaxoSmithKline is teaming up with Verily, the life sciences arm of Alphabet, Google's parent company, to form a UK-based company to conduct research into the nascent field of bioelectronic medicine, marking another vote of confidence in post-Brexit Britain. The new venture will be called Galvani Bioelectronics and headquartered within Glaxo's global R&D centre, in Kent.
