Nike says it is introducing a new line of athletic shoes called the N7 Collection, designed with environmentally friendly features.

The line is named for Nike's N7 Fund -- which has been supporting Native American youth sports for more than 10 years -- and a portion of profits from the shoes go directly to those efforts, building surfaces for play, providing grants and making product donations.

The N7 Collection -- which includes running, basketball and children's shoes -- will be sold exclusively in Nike retail stores, and feature Nike Grind in the outsoles, a material made from recycled sneakers and manufacturing scraps.--Sarah Mahoney
