NBC 'Primetime' Previews Fall Cross-Platform

The-Event

As part of its summer marketing effort for the fall season, NBC will air a 30-minute preview show -- a practice it has done in the past -- called "The NBC Primetime Preview Show."

The program will air August 7 through September 26 on its 232 local affiliates, digital platforms, broadcast and cable networks. "Primetime" will have some 500 airings overall.

Networks include USA Network, Syfy, Bravo, UniHD, Chiller, mun2, MSNBC, CNBC, Oxygen, and Sleuth, as well as NBC2Go and on-demand and broadband platforms. NBC stations will also make it available on their Web sites, while NBC.com will feature it as well.

The program will be screened on an estimated 11,000 American Airlines flights.

The show will focus on new NBC shows including "The Event," "Chase," "Undercovers," "Law & Order: Los Angeles," "Outsourced," "School Pride" and "Outlaw " -- in addition to returning shows such as "The Office," "30 Rock" and "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit."

NBC begins its new season on Monday, September 20.
