Dentsu-Aegis digital shops Isobar and Firstborn teamed up for a soup-to-nuts overhaul of luxury travel company Tauck’s digital presence.
The overhaul was designed to increase the brand’s appeal to younger consumers and families while maintaining the brand’s traditional customer base of affluent older customers.
The scope of the project included the complete redesign of the firm’s online site and the creation of a customer and travel agent-facing system called Guest Connect/Agent Connect, which required a major upgrade in the sites architecture. The system allows users to manage reservations, organize pre-travel planning and post-tour community engagement.
The redesign also added dynamic digital brochure generation, interactive itineraries, custom tour content and other features.
