Spike, Email Productivity Startup, Raises $8 Million

Spike, a startup that offers an email productivity tool to help consumers make sense of their inboxes, has raised $8 million in Series A Funding, bringing its total financing to date to $16 million.

The round was led by Insight Partners. Also participating were Wix, NFX, Kosa Labs, and individual investors including Eric Yuan, Gary Gamzu and Aryeh Mergi.

In addition, Daniel Aronovitz, vice president of Insight Partners, will join the Spike board.

The product includes such features as chat, calendar, calls, team collaboration, tasks and email.

The firm hopes to “reinvent how we work by combining email with essential services to get the job done without speeding time switching between platforms,” states Dvir Ben-Aroya, co-founder and CEO of the firm, which has locations in Tel Aviv and San Francisco.
