Horizon Media is doubling down with a bet that the metaverse and Web 3.0 are long-term opportunities for clients. It’s launching a new practice dedicated to creating experiences and campaigns in the burgeoning sectors that it has dubbed Chapter & Verse.
The practice will provide clients with products and expertise for the Metaverse, Web3, NFTs, blockchain, cryptocurrency, DAO communities and related facets. The unit will have three core capabilities: Consulting, Creative Concepting & Development, and Event Activation.
It is being co-founded and led by Donnie Williams, Horizon EVP/Chief Digital Officer, and Pedro L. Rodriguez, SVP, Business Growth, Digital Marketing & Transformation.

Horizon is just latest Adland firm to set its sights on the metaverse and Web 3.0 needs of clients. Examples include WPP’s recently formed Metaverse Foundry and Havas Group’s Metaverse by Havas.
IPG’s Mediahub late last year announced its presence, simultaneously hosted in Decentraland and on Discord. Vayner X launched an NFT consultancy last year as well.
