Omnicom's TMA Selected For Uber Eats/Visa Small Business Sustainability Campaign

Uber Eats and Visa have tapped Dallas-based TMA (The Marketing Arm) to create an ad campaign promoting a new global B2B small business program designed to support small- and medium-sized businesses on the Uber Eats platform in their transition to greener and more sustainable packaging solutions.

Together, Uber Eats and Visa will make $1 million accessible to qualifying Uber Eats restaurants in London, Madrid, Paris, Los Angeles, and New York City to be used toward funding sustainable packaging solutions.  It’s part of Uber’s effort to become a zero-emissions platform by 2040.

The campaign is designed to explain the program and also celebrate several recipients.  The videos will run in the U.K., France, Spain, and the U.S. on social media channels, including Meta, Snapchat, LinkedIn, and YouTube.

The program follows a 2022 effort by Visa and Uber Eats to support small businesses in the U.S. that were impacted by COVID and other calamities with $10,000 grants.

“Single-use packaging is used in nearly every takeout order worldwide,” said Pierre-Dmitri Gore-Coty, senior vice president and Global Head of Delivery for Uber. “With Visa and our restaurant partners, we can work toward reducing waste and helping small businesses thrive.”
