Volvo Hosts Swedish Brands At NYC Pop-Up

Volvo Car USA is bringing a little bit of Scandinavian culture to New York City.

The general public can explore Swedish offerings at Volvo's two-day pop-up at the Volvo Studio Manhattan on Sept. 1 and Sept. 2. Swedish brands include rainwear company Stutterheim; skincare brand Melyon, which has created a line of products made with people of color in mind; and Stiksen, a cap maker business created in response to teachers who stopped the founders from wearing hats in the classroom.

At the conclusion of the two-day pop-up, guests can enjoy refreshments and musical performances by LUCIIA the evening of Sept. 2. LUCIIA is a Swedish rhythm and blues artist who opened for Coldplay during the Swedish dates on their recent world tour.

This is the Swedish automaker's second NYC pop-up venture. In 2016, Volvo opened a temporary pop-up store in Manhattan’s Meatpacking District. The store featured its then-new flagship luxury sedan, the S90.
