Airbnb customers are the strongest advocates of any brand, new YouGov BrandIndex figures show. The global rankings look at brands' current and former customers and analyses -- which brands had the highest proportion of people recommending them to a family member or friend. Second and third on the list are Universal Studios Orlando and MoneySavingExpert.com.
The Drum
Facebook is making it easier to block certain types of ads that come under the drink or parenting sectors on the understanding that such products can, under certain circumstances, distress viewers. Mark Rabkin, vice president of core ads at Facebook, said: "For families who experience the loss of a child, to continue to see ads about parenting and new baby stuff, that can be really upsetting."

The Government has announced a final list of agencies from across the UK that have been selected to help deliver its campaigns over the next four years. In total, 27 agencies have been selected, including Ogilvy & Mather Group, Mother London, Havas UK and FCB Inferno.
Campaign
The mirror, created by design and innovation agency Seymourpowell, uses body tracking to capture the motion of the user and replicate it through their "reflection," a computer animated character who is able to wear a range of apparel. When not in use, the mirror becomes a dynamic aspect of the store design that showcases the collection.
The Guardian
Google and Facebook will take more than 70% of all money spent on display advertising online in the UK by 2020, according to a report which suggests the firms will soon have an effective duopoly spanning the Atlantic. The two companies already account for about three-quarters of the GBP18.4bn display ad market in the U.S., and 53% of the GBP4bn currently spent in the UK.

Deezer is continuing to use football as a marketing platform from which to stand apart from its rivals having now partnered with FC Barcelona. The music streaming service announced that it had agreed to terms with FC Barcelona to become the club's official music partner. As part of the deal, Deezer has created an official channel for Barcelona on the platform and will offer fans playlists.
Campaign
MediaCom has bought a 75% stake in Code Computerlove, the Manchester-based digital agency, believed to be worth at least GBP12m. Code will continue to be managed by its founders Tony Foggett, Louis Georgiou and Wini Tse, who retain a combined ownership of 25% of the business. The agency will remain in its offices in the centre of Manchester.

In a year that will go down in history as one of the most unpredictable of recent times, it is perhaps only fitting that England's shock defeat to footballing minnows Iceland was the most tweeted about TV event of 2016. The game generated 2.1 million tweets from 585,000 unique authors, over a million more tweets than the next most-tweeted-about sporting event.

Neither the weak pound or security threats will be enough to turn Brits away from international adventures, the marketing director of premium travel company Kuoni told Campaign, as it prepares the launch of a visually distinctive TV campaign on Christmas Day.

Facebook has borrowed Snapchat's biggest and most famous picture. The company has now built a special camera feature into its Messenger app, and added other visual tools that are intended to make it easier to send pictures to friends. As well as allowing easy access to the camera, the new Messenger includes animations and special effects that can be laid over the top of pictures.
