Netflix has split the German discount supermarkets Aldi and Lidl by shooting into the second spot in YouGov's BrandIndex buzz rankings for 2018, "Marketing Week" reports. Aldi has remained in the top spot, but Lidl has been shunted down to the fourth spot. Marks & Spencer and Premier Inn have both dropped out of this year's top ten. BA is the 'most improved' brand this year.

Former BBC Radio 2 DJ Simon Mayo is to help launch a new radio station devote to classical music, The Guardian reveals. Scala is owned by Bauer and launches on March 4th. It is promising a more youthful approach to classical music by concentrating on film scores and modern composers.
