AdYapper Closes $1.2 Mil. Round Of Funding

AdYapper, a real-time analytics provider, this morning announced the closing of a $1.2 million round of seed funding. The round was led by KGC Capital, and other investors included David Cohen of TechStars, Laurel Touby, Paul Sethi, Sameer Jagetia, Ari Newman, Vip Sandhir of Brown Capital and Dave Lerner of Rugged Ventures.

The company, which also provides viewability monitoring for display and mobile ads, wrote that they will use the capital to continue with research and development and "expand capabilities in new environment."

Elliot Hirsch, CEO and founder of AdYapper, told RTM Daily that "expanded capabilities" and "new environments" means adopting other devices and platforms. He said, "[That's] including exclusive environments like social media platforms," adding that AdYapper hopes to measure ads "wherever consumers encounter them."
