Omnicom Retail Group, the holding company’s retail, shopper and commerce marketing-focused specialist, has appointed Bryan Gildenberg senior vice president, commerce. He reports to the
unit’s CEO Sophie Daranyi.
Gildenberg joins from Kantar's retail consulting practice, where he was Chief Knowledge Officer, Retail and a member of the practice's executive
committee. He led the company's analysis and insights practice.
In this new position, Gildenberg is tasked with strengthening ORG's retailer intelligence, partnerships and retail
strategy. He’ll also oversee the further development of the group’s transactional data and shopper insight capabilities.
"Bryan has unparalleled retailer knowledge and insight and
will play a pivotal role as we continue to further build out our commerce consultancy and capabilities,” stated Daranyi.
