Kirk McDonald, who will depart as CEO of GroupM North America at year's end, has joined the board of directors of digital media and internet publishing company Ziff Davis.

“We are thrilled to welcome Kirk to our board of directors,” said Ziff Davis Board Chair Sarah Fay, herself a former North American media agency holding company chief (Aegis Media, now part of Dentsu). “As an industry veteran known for his business leadership, he will be an asset to Ziff Davis.”
