GMC Preps NFL Marketing Play

General Motors' GMC truck division is the “Official Vehicle of the NFL.” Don't know if you were there, but GMC was. At the NFL Kick-off event in New York City this week, the brand had 33 GMC Sierra fullsize pickups, each featuring logos of the NFL and its 32 teams, per the automaker.

Expect a lot more marketing in the cargo bed: this season GMC will build on its “Never Say Never” campaign with weekly contests where fans vote on their favorite plays, interact with football stars on social media, and get a chance to catch a hail-Mary GMC vehicle of their choice, or tickets to Monday Night Football games or the Super Bowl.

In addition to being the “Official Vehicle of the NFL,” GMC is the official vehicle of ESPN’s Monday Night Football, the Denver Broncos and the Carolina Panthers.
