End Of An Era: Campaign Highlights Braves' Glory Days At Turner Field

This is the last season the Atlanta Braves are playing at Turner Field. The baseball team and Blue Sky Agency are celebrating with a campaign that highlights some the great players and the feats they accomplished over the past two decades.

The ball park opened in 1997 and is being demolished after the Braves leave.

The campaign highlights past and current players, as well as memorable plays that have happened over the past years. An out-of-home component uses Fathead posters of Braves players/ Fans are encouraged to “find” their favorite player, "both on and off the field."

Radio and TV spots will feature opera singer Timothy Miller, who performs "God Bless America" at Braves home games.

"This year’s campaign is three things: fun, a celebration and about the fans," says the agency. "It is all about the fans celebrating being fans of the Braves, while being rooted in the fun of the game and the game experience."

Last year's campaign, by contrast, was more nostalgic.  It was player-focused, both current and past, and was about the team’s history.

The TV spots, which can be seen here, will run in seven states. Parts of the campaign can also be seen nationally through MLB.com. This year’s campaign will use some guerrilla marketing, earned media marketing and social activation.

Blue Sky Agency has worked with the Atlanta Braves for more than 10 years.
