The list is topped by an emotionally charged LG ad featuring an Indian girl who grows up to become an astronaut and, surprise surprise, buys her mother an LG tv set to say thanks for the support.

Research from GlobalWebIndex suggests nearly two in three fans will watch England games at home rather than down at the pub. The research, reported on in Netimperative, also suggests that two in three respondents don't think much of World Cup ads, saying they are too male-centric or just plain boring.
Sky News
Yahoo's British subsidiary has been fined GBP250,000 by the UK's data privacy watchdog, the ICO, for a security breach in 2014 that went unreported until 2016. The breach impacted 500 million customers worldwide, but "Sky News" reports that in the UK 500,000 customers were affected.
Mobile Marketing
Mobile Marketing is reporting that Snapchat has signed a deal with identity tracking firm LiveRamp to measure the effectiveness of advertising on the platform. Through an arrangement with an unnamed supermarket loyalty scheme, the system can track offline activity in-store through a new tool, called Offline Sales Impact (OSI).
The Guardian
"The Guardian" has more allegations today about the background to the charges of misappropriation of company funds against Sir Martin Sorrell while at WPP. He denies any wrongdoing.
The Times
American law firm Pomerantz claims to be investigating whether any directors at WPP have engaged in "securities fraud or other unlawful business practices." The "Times" could not reach the firm to clarify, but points out that following press reports surrounding the departure of Sir Martin Sorrell the law company is encouraging investors to get in contact.

The Spanish top football league organisation, La Liga, has admitted that it snooped on app users through location data and their smartphone's microphone. The Telegraph reveals the football organisation did this to find out if it sounded like a person was in a bar so it could then find out if the establishment had a licence to show games. It says users give it permission to use this data.
