    Kidfluencer is a new YouTube channel for kids, operated by British ad company SuperAwesome. It's partnered up with content creators.

    AT&T is readying a Web-based streaming TV service for launch, later this year. “The new services, which will be branded and packaged as DirecTV products, will let you stream video from smartphones, tablets, smart TVs, set top boxes, PCs, or other devices using a wired or wireless internet connection,” The Verge reports.

    The FCC is reportedly investigating whether big cable firms use special contract provisions to discourage media companies from running programming on the Web. As The Wall Street Journal reports: “It is part of a broader attempt by the FCC to address one of the big conundrums of the telecom age: Why has television been so slow to come to the Internet, despite technical breakthroughs that made it possible long ago?”
