Roku Expands Ad Reach In Mexico Via TV Azteca Deal

The scale of available ad buys on Roku devices in Mexico is being expanded through a new Roku partnership with TV Azteca.

Roku, which was already working with TV Azteca on content distribution and is now expanding the relationship into advertising, said the deal will significantly increase Roku’s reach and ad sales business in the market.

Roku has been growing its business in Mexico through ad partnerships like this one and by working directly with advertisers and agencies on branded content opportunities and ad formats offered by Roku.

Roku launched its first streaming devices in Mexico in 2015. In 2022, it launched its advertising business in Mexico in parallel with the launch of The Roku Channel, its free, ad-supported streaming service (FAST).
