SendGrid Thursday announced the launch of a new email management program tailored specifically for digital marketing agencies.
SendGrid is a cloud-based delivery platform for electronic communication, helping clients like Airbnb, Spotify and Uber deliver more than 30 billion emails each month.
With the launch of SendGrid for Agencies, the Denver-based company now offers a customized email program management platform for digital marketing agencies. The new platform allows agency professionals to send and measure marketing and transactional email campaigns from a single user interface.
As opposed to in-house marketers spending their time promoting one service or product, agency professionals have a unique set of communication challenges, according to SendGrid, Agency marketers need to be able to collaborate across account teams and manage clients, while also providing accurate billing and reporting details.
With these concerns in mind, SendGrid for Agencies was designed to simplify the process of managing multiple email programs. All email communication, from client email campaigns to email newsletters and password resets, can be sent from the SendGrid platform or through a flexible email API. The platform can be stratified with a series of permissions to give agencies greater control over who can access account details, metrics and billing information.
SendGrid also provides a dedicated IP (Internet Protocol), or a unique internet address dedicated exclusively to a single hosting account, to better manage the sending reputations of both the agency and its clients.
