Partnership Enables Targeting Cannabis Users Across CTV, Programmatic Video

Tremor Video and SaaS compliance solutions provider Fyllo have teamed to enable advertisers to target cannabis and CBD users across video screens, including connected TV (CTV) and programmatic video. 

Fyllo data now integrated in Tremor’s programmatic video and CTV platform includes non-cookie-dependent offline purchase data from cannabis and CBD-endemic point-of-sale systems, ecommerce platforms, delivery systems and loyalty programs, and traditional segments (like “food lovers”) appended with cannabis/CBD purchase data, as well as consumer profiles across hundreds of mainstream targeting categories and attributes, according to the companies. 

One example of an application: A streaming service could use segments that incorporate CBD purchase and streaming viewership behavior to target prospects more likely than average to have multiple streaming services and a propensity to recommend such services, along with high household income, Jessica La Rosa, Tremor vice president, partnerships and data, noted to Digital News Daily.
