TikTok Integrates New Influencer Marketing Platform For Spark Ads Format

In a move to bridge the gap between TikTok creators and advertisers, influencer marketing platform JoinBrands has launched an integration with TikTok’s Spark Ads format.

Spark Ads, which originally launched in 2021, invites advertisers to access pre-existing creator content and with the creator’s permission, use it as part of a larger campaign. Now JoinBrands’ corporate partners can do just that, without needing a TikTok account.

According to a statement, JoinBrands features built-in ad capabilities for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and Amazon Shoppable Videos so brands can “instantly” promote their content in hopes of increasing reach and visibility.

<>JoinBrands calls itself the “Uber for influencer marketing,” as it aims to provide marketers with a platform where they can find vetted influencers that align with their brand values and desired audience.

The company says it also offers brands a variety of campaign types to choose from. Last summer, JoinBrands announced that it had attracted 10,000 creators and 1,000 brands, three months after the platform’s initial launch.

Brands pay to use the JoinBrands platform only after a creator accepts their job, and are able to maintain full content rights to reuse and repurpose promotional materials.

The company says it ensures transactions through escrow payments and manages the transfer of content rights.
