Fox Corp.'s Mulvihill Takes New Senior Research Role

Fox Corp. has created a new senior executive research/data post with longtime Fox Sports executive Mike Mulvihill, who has been named president of insights and analytics.

He will continue to report to Mark Silverman, president/chief operating officer of Fox Sports. Mulvihill will also report to senior executives at Fox Entertainment and Tubi.

The company credits his involvement with game “regionalization” on the Fox Sports’ NFL package for its strong ratings in recent years.

He helped to start up Fox’s "Big Noon Saturday" show -- which featured the most-watched game of the week in college football -- as well as with scheduling of the NFL.

Mulvihill joined Fox Sports in 1995 as a research analyst.
