    Dunkin' Donuts is currently testing mobile apps for ordering food and could follow with a test of home delivery service, according to Nigel Travis, CEO for the Canton, Mass.-based company. But could those donuts and coffee be brought to your door by company spokesmen such as Rob Gronkowski and David 'Big Papi' Ortiz? That would fit in with Dunkin' Donuts' new humorous multi-platform campaign, Summer Chill, fronted by Gronkowski (New England Patriots) and Ortiz (Boston Red Sox). They star in a TV spot and sing on an "album" of songs "inspired by summer and Dunkin' Donuts' Iced Coffee."

    Could Chrsyler merge with GM? FCA chief Sergio Marchionne is said to be trying to push the deal. He is apparently going to hedge funds and activist investors to help persuade General Motors to agree to a merger. He sees them as a means to consolidate the auto industry, per sources. Reportedly, CEO Mary Barra confirmed that she recently received an e-mail from Marchionne.

    Men's Wearhouse, looking to compete with the likes of Suitsupply, Indochino and J.Crew for Millennials, is expanding its line of custom clothing this year, and focusing on its higher-end Joseph Abboud line, an American-made suit manufacturer it acquired nearly two years ago, and for which it opened a New York flagship in April. "Custom clothing is new to us," says Men's Wearhouse CEO Doug Ewert, but it's "a big growth opportunity."
  • Bidding Up To $12 Billion For P&G Beauty Brands
    Procter & Gamble is getting bids from rivals for the beauty products it is divesting. Henkel & Co and Coty Inc. submitted bids worth a combined $12 billion, per sources. Other bidders were multiple private equity firms. Henkel made an offer for P&G's haircare business, which includes the Wella and Clairol brands. Those could leave the block for $5 billion to $7 billion. Private equity firm KKR & Co. also submitted another bid for the haircare business.

    The big news out of Apple's annual developer's conference is the impending release of the next-generation operating system for devices like the iPhone and iPad. But along with the launch of iOS 9, Apple also plans to upgrade its new CarPlay system. The first cars equipped with CarPlay -- including 14 models from Chevrolet -- won't even hit the road until summer. But the revised system will soon be able to do more than play Spotify through your car's audio system.
  • NFL, Yahoo Set Bills-Jags In London As First Exclusive Live Stream Game
    The NFL has signed a deal with Yahoo to become its exclusive partner to deliver to a global audience the first live stream of an NFL game. It will be the NFL's International Series game in London between the Buffalo Bills and Jacksonville Jaguars on Oct. 25. The game will air for free across such Yahoo properties as Yahoo, Yahoo Sports, Yahoo Screen and Tumblr.

    The upcoming Pixar movie "Inside Out" is a licensing deluge, and that includes a limited run of Ugg shoes that let kids wear their emotions on their feet.The collection of boots and slip-ons includes 11 styles meant to represent the five emotions - joy, fear, sadness, anger and disgust - that are a key to the young heroine's character. An Anger moccasin, for example, has red zigzags with the words "Fired up!" written along the edge of the sole, while a Sad zip-up boot has blues, sequins, bows and the statement "It's Okay To Be Sad."
  • Airborne: 7-Eleven Opens Airport Store
    7-Eleven's first-ever U.S. airport terminal location has opened at Los Angeles' International Airport. The 950-sq.-ft. store is in the pre-security arrivals level of the Tom Bradley International Terminal. The store carries a mix of fresh and hot foods, beverages, snacks, travel-size personal care products and nonfood items. Said Norm Hower, 7-Eleven's zone leader for the greater Los Angeles area said the airport store will carry somewhat different fare from other 7-Elevens. "Travelers and those in the travel industry have needs for products you might not find at a neighborhood 7-Eleven."
