The "Release your Renegade" campaign highlights Halsey and several other emerging artists - Molly Kate Kestner, Uri Grey and Chloe Nixon - as they talk about their personal journeys. The ads promote FCA's hot-selling Renegade compact SUV. The campaign broke Thursday on TV and online.

Calling it a "very important growth opportunity" and a "significant step forward in broadening the sport's appeal," Formula One has signed a multi-year linear and digital partnership with ESPN, beginning with the 2018 season. Formula One had aired exclusively in the U.S. on NBC Sports since 2013. Financial terms of the alliance were not shared. ESPN and ABC will televise all 21 races in the FIA Formula One World Championship.

A federal appeals court on Wednesday upheld the dismissal of a lawsuit in Florida accusing Chipotle Mexican Grill Inc. of falsely advertising that it had eliminated genetically modified organisms from its menu. The 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Atlanta ruled that the Florida customer who filed the proposed class action could not establish she was actually damaged by Chipotle's advertising.

Fiorucci, which acquired cult status and flourished throughout the 1970s and 1980s before going into a slow decline, was relaunched earlier this year with a new website, new fashions and pop-ups in Barneys New York and Selfridges (London). Capping off its comeback, Fiorucci has opened a 5,000-sq-ft. flagship in London's SoHo neighborhood. A New York City location is planned for 2018.

Airbnb chief marketer Jonathan Mildenhall has reportedly stepped down from his role at the company. Mildenhall, according to a public Facebook post, will be departing to start his own marketing consulting firm with an eye to remedying pervasive issues in marketing. The new firm, called 21st Century Branding, reportedly came to fruition after Mildenhall was courted by a slew of startups and VC firms seeking his marketing assistance.

NBA will see sponsorship dollars "skyrocket" during 2017-18 due to the eight-year, $1 billion deal with Nike as the league's official on-court uniform provider (replacing Adidas) and the beginning of a three-year trial period in which teams are allowed to sell ad patches on game jerseys for the first time in league history. Sponsorship spending on the NBA and its 30 teams hit a record $861 million in 2016-17, up 7.8% from the previous season.

Dollar General wants to make it easier for its employees to pursue higher education. In a newly announced partnership with Bellevue University, all full-time and part-time Dollar General employees now qualify for $8,000 and $5,250, respectively, in tuition assistance after working at Dollar General for a minimum of 30 days. Plus, immediate family members of employees are eligible for up to $2,625.

Two varieties of Beyond Meat's Beyond Burgers and three other of the company's plant-based offerings are now available via Chef'd, the meal kit online marketplace. Beyond Burger has expanded into more grocery store meat cases with its recent entrance into more than 1,400 Kroger and Albertsons retail outlets. The product is now available at more than 2,500 grocery stores and restaurants nationwide.

Automakers posted higher U.S. new vehicle sales in September as consumers in hurricane-hit parts of the country replaced flood-damaged cars. Analysts and industry consultants had predicted hurricanes Harvey and Irma would provide automakers with their first monthly gains in 2017. But others warned high inventory levels and record consumer discounts remained a concern moving forward.
