    WeWork is purchasing a digital marketing company whose services it has used since 2016. The New York-based co-working space provider is taking over Conductor Inc., a startup known for helping big-name brands modernize their digital marketing capabilities. Going forward, it will make it easier for WeWork to reach potential members who are looking for workspace, as well as market the many amenities it offers.

    The company in recent weeks has told workers at its going-out-of-business sales that it doesn't have enough money to pay severance. Its United Kingdom division has been placed under administration — the U.K. version of bankruptcy — after falling behind on debt payments. A hearing scheduled for bankruptcy court has been postponed three time this week, signaling that the company's reorganization plan could be collapsing.

Weight Watchers International Inc., of which Winfrey is a board member and investor, is launching a line of “quick-prep” kits to be sold in grocery stores.
  • Millennials Are Not Thrilled With Social Media
    Even Millennials are getting sick of Instagram. More than half of users ages 18 to 24 revealed they are “seeking relief from social media,” according to a survey. The poll, taken in December, found that 34% of young users had deleted social-media accounts entirely. Forty-one percent of respondents said they waste too much time on social media, and 35% agreed that people their age are too distracted by their online lives.

    The Los Angeles Clippers have signed a deal naming Bumble a team marketing partner, including a logo patch on player jerseys. The Clippers are the 20th NBA team to sign a jersey-patch pact. Bumble is a social-media based firm led by founder and CEO Whitney Wolfe Herd and other women, with a primary dating application that requires women to make the first steps in a potential chat.
  • Corona Thinks America Needs Another Light Beer
    Constellation Brands Inc., the U.S. distributor of Corona, and Anheuser-Busch InBev, are rolling out higher-priced lower-calorie brews they say are aimed at satisfying drinkers’ thirst for a more sophisticated light beer. U.S. shipments of the biggest brands such as Bud Light and Miller Lite have been falling for years, while shipments of Michelob Ultra, a pricier low-carbohydrate brew, have increased every year since 2011.
  • Lufthansa Launches All-Female Crews For International Women's Day
    Six all-female crews from Lufthansa, SWISS, Austrian Airlines, Eurowings and Brussels Airlines will start their morning rounds to Berlin for International Women’s Day. The jets will be flown from Frankfurt, Munich, Dusseldorf, Vienna, Zurich and Brussels. The FlyingLab from Frankfurt to Houston is under the command of an entirely female crew.
