• Dogs, Cats Have No Complaints About 2020
    Dogs, cats and other pets had their best year ever in 2020. That’s according to The New York Times, which chronicled some of the phenomena  to come out of the much-hated year. Flour, Zoom calls, celibacy, outdoor dining domes and home haircuts are some of the other trends — or necessities — which resulted from the COVID-19 pandemic.
  • Distilleries That Pivoted To Hand Sanitizer Face Fees
    Distilleries received a surprise fee from the Food and Drug Administration after using their facilities to make much-needed hand sanitizer amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The CARES Act enacted in March included a non-prescription drug policy, making  distilleries producing hand sanitizer "over-the-counter drug monograph facilities." The CARES Act also established these facilities must pay user fees under the OTC monograph drug user fee program, according to USA Today.
