    Consumers looking for over-the-counter items like Children's Tylenol might be finding sparse or empty shelves as a spike in respiratory illnesses pushes pediatricians and emergency rooms to the limit. "Usual supplies of fever- and pain-reducing medicines, such as liquid acetaminophen and ibuprofen recommended for children with RSV, flu or the coronavirus, have not kept up with demand in recent weeks in pockets of the country hit hardest by surging illnesses," per The Washington Post.
  • Store Brands Help Consumers To Cut Costs
    Consumers who are looking for ways to cut costs are finding private label or store brands to be one solution. "During the pandemic, consumers tried different items — it may have been because of a lack of other items on the shelf — and they stuck with it,” said Peggy Davies, president of the Private Label Manufacturers Association. “That seems to be what we are seeing in the sales numbers.”

    Tesla Founder Elon Musk's behavior since buying Twitter is negatively impacting the auto company's reputation. According to YouGov, Tesla started the year with a 5.9% net favorability rating that increased to 6.7% by May. It then steadily declined, crossing into the negatives for the first time ever on Nov. 7. As of Nov. 27, it was -1.4%.
