    Macy's is adding new SKUs to celebrity labels. Madonna's daughter Lola's favorite accessories are the inspiration for an expanded lineup of Macy's "Material Girl" products. Items include lip gloss, body lotion and nail polish between $7 to $20. Material Girl beauty will be sold in around 375 Macy's stores and online. Other categories for the fall 2011 season will include denim, bedding and intimates, to be sold in approximately 125 Macy's stores.     General Motors says it is lining up $328 million for its Flint, Mich., plant to build the next generation of Chevrolet and GMC full-size pickups. The plant, which builds the heavy-duty versions of the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra, has 2,047 employees, and the investment is expected to create or retain 150 jobs, GM says.     The Monterey Bay Aquarium has a new campaign, "Share the love." Besides TV, radio, print and Internet creative, there are also in social media components on Facebook and Twitter plus an experiential vector comprising a branded aquarium truck rolling to San Francisco, Sacramento and other Calif. cities. The road show has an interactive video screen, a "virtual aquarium dive adventure."     Karen Roberts will be executive VP and president of Walmart Realty. She fills a post vacated by the company's long-time real estate executive, Eric Zorn, who retired after a 20-year career. Roberts most recently served as senior VP and chief compliance officer at the Bentonville, Ark., company. She will report to Tom Mars, executive VP and chief administrative officer.

    The Alliance of Automobile Manufacturers is launching a radio campaign this week attacking the White House's proposed increase in federal fuel economy standards.     Medicis CEO Jonah Shacknai is unlikely to lead the pharma company, at least for now, following the death of his son at his house in Coronado, Calif., on the heels of the hanging death of his girlfriend.   • InterContinental Looking For Marketing Chief
    InterContinental Hotels Group PLC (IHG), the biggest hotel operator, said it is looking for a new marketing chief to oversee ramp-up global growth from its existing chains and new portfolio additions. The U.K.-based group said chief marketing officer Tom Seddon is departing, with his responsibilities split on a temporary basis between two senior members of the IHG sales and marketing division. "We are looking for someone with heavier brand experience. We are very brand focused," a company spokesman said.
