Bud Light will get a new look in 2016. Created by design firm Jones Knowles Ritchie in collaboration with Bud Light’s creative agency Wieden + Kennedy New York, the packaging marks the brand’s first major redesign in eight years. The new look, an all blue can, includes the "AB" crest – which hasn’t appeared on packaging since 2001. Yes, the new bottles and cans will make it into the company's Super Bowl ads.

Subway's new set of ads featuring the comedian Tony Hale are digital shorts that can only be seen online, where Millennials are. The campaign, which furthers the company’s #SaveLunchBreak effort, also represents a shift in Subway’s ad thinking away from one-size-fits-all. “We need to start doing a better job of activating through social,” said Chris Carroll, Subway chief advertising officer. “Don’t be so conservative, and have fun with it. Taco Bell today launches its loyalty program, which comes as a game that rewards customers for using the app or simply for “Living Mas” on social media. With the program, called "Taco Bell Explore, Season 1," those who register can immediately begin earning puzzle pieces toward a reward — from a free Freeze to $100 gift cards and more. The loyalty game rewards guests in two ways: Either by ordering through the app, or by linking their social media networks to the loyalty program, including Facebook, Instagram or Twitter.

PepsiCo Inc., wants to build its vending machine business, which has been hit by anti-soda and sugar drink movement and health concerns about snack foods. The company is rolling out several thousand dual-temperature machines that offer both food and drinks under the new Hello Goodness brand, according to a company statement. The units will include healthier products from PepsiCo's beverage and Frito-Lay divisions, including Naked Juice, Lays Oven Baked chips and Sabra hummus cups.

A record-setting 100 million-plus people will hit the road this holiday season, between Dec. 23 and Jan. 3. Why? Cheap gas. According to AAA, nearly one in three people will travel more than 50 miles to celebrate the season. The 100.5 million estimated travelers represents a 1.4% increase over 2014. The jump in travelers marks the seventh consecutive year that holiday travel has increased. According to AAA, the improved labor market is also driving the increase in holiday travel.
